Fast drying garments dry quickly due to the structure, composition and the weight of the fabric or a combination of the aforementioned. Also chemical treatments can make a garment fast dry.
UV Protection
The fabric has been treated to produce a garment with a UV protector. The higher the SPF the more protection the sunscreen offers against UV-B rays. UPF (Ultra Violet Protection) is given to measure the sun protection of fabric and garments. UPF measures both the UVA and UVB factors.
Wicking
When you perspire or when moisture hits the fabric it will simply drop off the fabric allowing no moisture to be absorbed by the garment.
