When you're off backpacking you literally carry your world on your shoulders. Everything you need for your travels is contained within your trusty pack. Whether it's a day pack for touring the sites, or a large capacity rucksack for a gap year we have a wide range of great value bags.

Day Packs

Choose from our selection of comfortable packs with sections for sandwiches, cameras, water bottles, a jacket, phone and guidebook. You will also find features such as space for a hydration system, raincover and air systems to keep your back cool and dry. Take a look at our huge range of small backpacks ranging from 12L - 25L.

Backpacks

Selecting a backpack is a more specialised affair for which you need to consider the capacity of the bag and your size. It's tempting to take half your wardrobe when you go away on a long trip, but you'd be surprised at how little you actually need. If you're having trouble cutting back it's a good idea to lay out what you think you need on a bed or on the floor - and halve it. Our medium backpacks range from 30L-45L.

When planning your big O.E. or adventure of lifetime you need a dependable large rucksack to help you along the way, the Mountain Warehouse range of large backpacks start at 50L with our largest holding a capacity of 80L. The other point to consider is how tall you are, all of our packs are adjustable, but we also sell bags with longer backs for the taller among you. A backpack fits you correctly if the weight of the bag rests onto your hips, if you are not sure our friendly store staff will be happy to fit you with the correct sized bag.
