The Mountainlife Summit 300XL has an extreme temperature of -8C and a comfort temperature of -2 – 15C. The Summit 300XL sleeping bag is a 3 season sleeping bag and weighs 2.2kg. The sleeping bag has a separate inner pocket and 2 sleeping bags can be zipped together to make a double sleeping bag. The Mountainlife sleeping bag is available in khaki.

Left and right handed zips

The sleeping bags are available with left and right zip options, this allows for two sleeping bags to be zipped together to form a twin. If you are right handed you are best to buy a sleeping bag with a zip on the left side and vice versa as it is easier to do it up and down across your body.

Extreme temperature

The extreme rating of the Summit 300XL sleeping bag is a survival only rating for a 'standard' adult woman. This is an extreme survival rating only and it is not advisable to rely on this rating for general use.

Comfort temperature

The "comfort temperature" is the minimum temperature that the Summit 300XL sleeping bag is designed for. Of course this is just an approximation as people tolerate temperature differently.
