The Oberon 3 tunnel tent has a hydrostatic head of 2000mm with fully taped seams. The Oberon 3 person tent sleeps 3 people and is easy to pitch and is great value for camping festivals and weekends away. The tent has a deceptively spacious tunnel tent and a large bedroom area as well as a large front porch/living area. The living area has a detachable ground sheet and the groundsheet to the inner tent is sewn in.
Hydrostatic head
A hydrostatic head measures how waterproof the fabric or material of a tent or garment is. In the case of the Oberon 3 person tent; the hydrostatic head is 2000mm. The fabric used to make the tent has a waterproof membrane or coating that prevents water droplets from penetrating through the fabric, therefore it protects you from the elements and of water in particularly. If the fabric is waterproof and has taped seams then it is also windproof due to the embedded membrane.
Colour coded poles
Colour coded poles make putting the Oberon tent together more easily and efficiently. The poles here are made of fibreglass making them strong and durable as well as lightweight.
