Families and large groups of friends can camp together in comfort in one of our spacious 4-6 person tents. With enough room for up to 6 people, family tents are the perfect choice for festivals and family holidays. Our family tents come in tunnel, monodome and pop up styles, and are all fully waterproof. The family tents are made of waterproof fabric that has a membrane that stops water from penetrating into the tent, and have taped seams.

When waterproof fabric is stitched, tiny holes are left in the fabric. By taping these seams with waterproof tape, we eliminate the risk of any water seeping through the seam holes into the tent. When seeing how protected you will be during wet weather in your family tent, check the hydrostatic head. Hydrostatic head refers to water pressure versus depth of water. The higher the hydrostatic head, the more protected you will be during periods of heavy rain.

Many of our family tents have either a porch or vestibule area for extra space and comfort. These areas are great for storing muddy boots, to use for a cooking area in bad weather, or to have somewhere to set up a camping table and chairs.

For smaller groups our family tents are roomy and offer extra storage space. You won’t regret the extra space afforded to you by a family tent, with more space for camping furniture and air beds as well as separate bedroom areas. Additionally there is often a standing area in our larger tents, as well as a separate living area, with internal windows which allow for additional ventilation.
