Matthew's 520km Cambodia cycle challenge
Raising money for:
Leukemia And Lymphoma Research
I am cycling 520km across Cambodia from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap (round Tongle Sap lake). I am going to average around 85km a day on rough tracks and sweltering heat.
I have chosen this charity because I as a survivor of Leukemia I wanted to challenge myself and give something back to all the people that helped me through my treatment and help people now get better treatment so Leukemia and Lymphoma are minimized.
I am doing longer cycles (about 65km) everyday in the Singapore heat to get used to the continuous work and heat I will have to endure in Cambodia. I am also running to increase fitness and speed. I have tested out my sony action cam which I will record the entire cycle on and create a documentary with after I finish.
