Tennants take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks
Raising money for: Praderwilli Syndrome Association Uk
A team from Tennants are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge, Pen-y-Ghent (691 metres), Whernside (728 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), in under 12 hours
Ian Grantham, a member of the Tennants team has a daughter Lilly, who was born last year with Prader-Willi Syndrome, an incredibly rare genetic disorder, which is a condition that very few people are aware of. The team aim to raise the profile of the charity who offer support and assistance to Ian and his family, and others in the same situation.
The team from Tennants are an unlikely bunch of walkers who have clubbed together to recognise the efforts of the charity which will continue to have a direct impact on the life of Ian and his family. Most 'walkers' didn't even own a pair of boots before we began but are now taking the training in their stride during this hot British summer!
We have organised a quiz night, raffle and cake sale all on top of the walk to try and give something back to those people supporting us!
