Thames 50K river path walk
Trekking 31 miles /50K along the Thames River Path - in 8 hours on 14th September
Some running and a lot of walking in a purple tutu. If I can keep going I'll go for the 100K - decision on the day!
For my grandfathers and their fathers who are long gone but fought in WW2 and WW1. They were mistreated when they returned... we should make that right and support our wounded both mentally and physically when they return from the horrors they see, keeping families together and supporting the families of those that are lost.
I completed the Avebury to Stonehenge 26mile trek 2 years ago & apart from the best feeling ever completing the personal challenge I was lucky enough to walk with a serving soldier and he told me how important it was that H4H continue doing what they do. The support they receive and the fact that there are people out here that care is a morale boost to the serving troops. They know that they are not forgotten. It is an honour to help these brave men and women who protect us.
