Trekking in Iceland with support from Linda MacKenzie as I am Deafblind and would not be able to do this Trek on my own. Linda will be my 'ears & eyes' from home to Iceland and back home.
Because they are a wonderful charity whose focus is on all Deafblind people who have varying degrees of hearing loss and sight loss. They also provide the services of Guide/Communicators. Land has been bought in Lenzie and now fundraising is needed to build a Centre of Excellence which has slogan 'Fields of Dreams'.
I go to the Gym 3 times a week.
I have a Dual Purpose Dog (both Guide Dog and Hearing Dog for Deaf People) so I also walk a lot too.
I recently did Conic Hill (an article about this was in Daily Record 7/8/13) near Balmaha which is part of the West Highland Way.
