Wheels Appeal Challenge
Wheels Appeal Climbing Challenge
A 16 strong group of climbers will be attempting to reach the sumit of Mount Kilimanjaro the highest freestanding mountain in the world (5985m) in Tanzania, Africa to raise money for the Wheels Appeal
Were raising money to purchase 3 mini-buses to use in our services supporting those who are vulnerable within society. Our target is to raise £75,000! We support a range of customers throughout or projects, these include older people and victims of domestic abuse. The mini-buses would be a real benefit, adding value to the great work we already do.
We are all busy training in the gym, going for walks and generally trying to improve our fitness in preperation for the big climb. We are going to be climbing Mt Snowdon to help us all gel together as a team and see how fit people actually are!
One member of the group is a real fitness fanatic and is helping people to train by coming up with a plan for everyone to follow that you can fit in to your daily routine. However even with all the training, this is going to be a very hard challenge!
