Leamington Spa Travel Guide

29.12.2014 | News

Last month, we took a trip out to the lovely town of Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. While we there we spoke to some locals and tourists to find out the top things to do in the town.

With countless parks, historical landmarks, and plenty of shopping, many see Leamington Spa as a home away from home, and we can see why. Check out our guide to the town below.

Here’s a breakdown of our favourites things to do in Leamington Spa…

Walking

If you enjoy a walk, heading to Jephson Garden, Newbold Comyn, Royal Pump Room Gardens or Abbey Fields is perfect. All of these parks are filled with beautiful flowers and places to sit. Jephson Garden even has a river running through it, and ducks quacking away. A perfect day out with the kids!

Culture

If you’re a tourist in the town, finding out about some of Leamington’s fascinating history is a must. The Royal Pump Rooms and Warwick Castle are popular attractions, as well as Leamington Art Gallery & Museum if you want both culture and creativity in one.

Shopping

Those we asked couldn’t stop talking about the amount great places to shop, eat and socialise  in the town, with countless pubs, restaurants and well-known shops, including our very own Mountain Warehouse shop, you definitely won’t struggle for things to do!

Better yet, being just over an hour and a half from London, Leamington is incredibly easy to travel to – for both a day or a weekend. Give it a go! You’ll have a great time.
