A year ago, Mountain Warehouse opened its doors to its Morpeth store in the Sanderson Arcade. In honour of the branch’s first birthday, the Mountain Warehouse store in Morpeth is celebrating by giving all customers special offers this Saturday and Sunday, including 10% off many items in store.
Morpeth is a historical market town in the heart of Northumberland, and close by to Newcastle city centre. Situated on the River Wansbeck, the town of Morpeth is well known for its rich history and heritage, as well as being a short distance away from country gardens and estates.
One of those estates is Alnwick Castle, the second largest inhabited castle in England and the filming location for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the first two Harry Potter films. Morpeth is also a short distance from the coast, and Druridge Bay County Park; a combination of stunning park and a seven mile stretch of sandy beach, which is popular with cyclists, walkers, andsurfers as well as being home to protected nature reserves. With spring approaching, what better way to explore Morpeth then to get on your walking shoes, pack yourself a picnic and go for a wander?
The Morpeth branch of Mountain Warehouse is adjacent to the main bus station, and was part of phase two of the town centre development. The Sanderson Arcade was officially opened by Joanna Lumley in November 2009.
