A.Snowboots are designed to keep your feet warm whilst out in the snow but most are not really suited for hill walking or hiking long distances. Snowboots will often have more flexible soles than hiking boots which can wear out quicker and will not be as comfortable for walking on rough surfaces. Snow boots are generally bulkier, heavier and less flexible (on the leg) than hiking boots. If you plan to go hiking in the snow a pair of waterproof hiking boots, or a thinsulate fur lined hiking boot with good grip on the sole (or crampons) would be more comfortable.
Q. Can I go hiking in snow boots?
