Tornado Women's Waterproof Walking Boots

I was in need of a new pair of walking boots as the pair I had had gave me bruises around my toes, although the size was just right for me. Because I have sensitive toes and toe nails, I required a pair of boots that was soft and flexible. Tornado's waterproof walking boots gave me all that I needed. I was recommended the pair by a very helpful Mountain Warehouse assistant and fell in love with the boots as soon as I had put it on. They are very soft around the toes, which means I can walk comfortably straight away. Where you tie the boots are very soft as well, so I can really pull the shoe strings and adjust them to my feet. That it is completely waterproof was proven when my fell into a small swamp and had very muddy feet! Highly recommended!

Bought in an emergency (old boots fell apart whilst assessing silver D of E expedition). Very comfortable and didn't need 'breaking in' in order to do lots of walking. Although classed as waterproof, I didn't get chance to spray them with protector, as I had to wear them immediately on purchase. My feet stayed dry throughout the weekend of rain and very heavy frost.

These are comfortable, and quite wide fitting for my wide feet. They're not too heavy, but are waterproof (so long as they are looked after ie cleaned after use, and reproofed when necessary). The soles are designed to be long lasting.

Already wearing them in. A bit heavy at first but ok after 2 hours. Comfort and strength. I expect to get lots of wear out of them - and I look great, yup it suits my life style - I like quality and to look good.

I tried a few different boots on but these were the best for me. I have a broad foot and trying to get a wide fit boot is near impossible. I hope to get years of walking out of them.

as soon as i put these boots on i knew they were perfect for me. they are quite high at the ankle so gives excellent support. love the funky grey and purple colour.

Fitted well. my wife has wide feet and finds it very hard to find comfortable shoes. again got it for different use than walking. Summer mucking out boots.

Having tried on a variety of boots in various stores, I found that these were just right. They are light and very comfortable with plenty of ankle support.

These boots were comfortable straight away, love the style & colours too! Very lightweight but waterproof & sturdy. Didn't have to wear them in at all.

I WALK THROUGH LONG WET GRASS REGULARLY, THEY ARE NOT ACTUALLY WATERPROOF BUT FEET ONLY GET DAMP NOT SODDEN AND SQUELCHING.

They do exactly what it says on the box! Waterproof is waterproof. So comfy even after many miles when wearing in.

Bought these boots to replace old ones. Good, comfortable, good support around ankles without being too stiff.

These boots are very comfortable and fit the bill exactly. They are light and didn't take long to 'walk in'.

I've yet to fully test them but having tried on a range they certianly were the best for comfort

really comfy - no time to walk them in before a 15 mile hike in the wet but they were perfect!
