Viper Women's Waterproof Hiking Boots

Boots look good and are very sturdy and waterproof. The main problem I have is the fit although I purchased a size 7 my normal size these boots are loose around the heel and keep moving up and down on my heel, also around the front of the ankle the boot tends to be uncomfortable and digs in to my ankle. A problem I've never had with walking boots before. I am hoping when I've worn them for awhile the digging in part will stop. As for the heel slipping I'll have to try an insole or a heel grip, even my thickest walking socks made no difference. I would not by walking boots online again.

This boot fits well on broad feet, flexible leather and a soft surround to the ankle, as well as a hard vibram sole, that cushions against rough ground. I have only had them a few weeks, and so cannot comment on the important aspect of long-term reliability, but so far they have proved comfortable and 100% waterprooof. A possible downside is that they may be a fraction heavier than some boots. Also, to note that the boot seems larger than average (for example, if your foot were a 5, you might need a 4 1/2).

Comfortable but stick with your foot size when ordering as they are already a size larger. You should always go for a size larger when ordering Hiking Boots but those are large enough so just order your own shoe size and you will be fine. They are nice and comfortable and look good.

I have been wearing these for my job, landscape gardening, 5 days a week throughout the year in all weathers. These are the most comfortable pair of boots I have purchased, and only now do I need to replace them, I will be buying another pair of the same!

Excellent boots, I wear them twice a day for dog walking my hounds, I go over rough, wet ground at times and so far they have been brilliant. Warm and waterproof, did not take long to 'break' in which is a must for me. I would recommend them.

I was a little unsure about choosing leather boots in terms of weight and "breaking in". I needn't have worried as the - first outing was a wet 6 mile walk in the Lake District left me with dry feet and no blisters or rubbing.

I have used the boots for the first time today and found them very comfortable. I appreciated the helpful advice I got in store when I bought them as regards sizing,support ,thickness of sole etc.

I bought these for my 14 year old daughter and she loves them! She says they are very comfortable and they kept her feet dry and warm in all the snow we had a couple of weeks ago!!

Usually struggle to find boots that fit but these are wonderful. Put lots of dubbin on them and they have proved totally waterproof on our very wet holiday to northern England.

Sturdy, well made, real leather and very comfy (after a bit of breaking in, of course). Great value and just as good as any of the better known brands.

Really comfortable, durable, hardwearing although i bought a size smaller than my normal size, so i would definately try on before purchasing.

Darker in colour than I realised in the shop. Only purchased two days ago, so have only worn around home to break in.

BOOTS ARE WELL MADE AND COMFORTABLE, DID NOT NEED 'BREAKING IN' LIKE LEATHER BOOTS I HAVE BOUGHT IN THE PAST.

Comfortably wide fit, well made, good value. Not worn for long time yet, only short walks to get used to them

Doing the job I bought them for,keeping my feet warm and dry andallowing me to walk safely around the fields.

long grass all day and heavey rain for severa; hours and no wet feet, had them for about 2 mts now

I yet have to break them in but I like the viper sole and hope to use them in Ireland for hiking
