Lockton Men's Waterproof Walking Shoes

Bought on-line for a trip to Iceland and v satisfied so far. Have been on a couple of trial walks and they are comfortable and light whilst feeling strong. I always doubt the ability to 'take sweat away' claim & I can't say that these are any different, but for the price I feel that I am going to get a lot of use out of these shoes. I buy most products on line but it is always a gamble when it comes to footwear particularly as I am 'between sizes' and brands vary on the small or large side of the shoe size. These walking shoes were as good a fit as I could have asked for. The right shoe is slightly bigger, but maybe my right foot is slightly smaller. I can only recommend.

Having failed to find a descent waterproof approach shoe made by the major manufacturers that suited my needs I found these, by chance, in Mountain Warehouse. They are waterproof, good stiffness in the sole and a GOOD heal and sole design that looks like it will last longer than five minutes. I put these on straight from the box and walked 8 miles mixed terain with no problems. A minor point I feel is that the tongue could have been a little longer. Great value at 1/3 of the cost of other shoes. In hind sight I wish I'd bought 2 pairs and saved one pair for when these eventually wear out.

I bought this pair for my son, as I have already have a pair, which I use on a daily basis for dog walking in the countryside. They are very comfortable, kept my feet warm and mostly dry, despite wading through a lot of wet and muddy ground. They are starting to show signs of damage on the join from the toe to the material, but I have not reproofed them in some time (so probably my fault)

Having looked around for some economically priced walking shoes, I found these at Mountain Warehouse. I have now used them and found them to be good quality and excellent value. They were comfortable and the waterproof claim was well tested and found to be true. I would recomend these walking shoes to anybody who does ocasional walking.

This is my 3rd pair. I wear them at least once every day for walking the dog over all sorts of terrain. Very comfortable, hardwearing and they're actually waterproof - in my experience most walking shoes say they are but the reality is different. And for the price, they are amazing value.

Had to go with this shoe as it is the only black walking shoe, bought it to replace the Rocky shoe as the stopped making them and 2 pairs lasted about 5 years so not bad wear out of the previous shoe, only wore these for a day and they seem ok just need to get used to them.

I use these for work (tradesman). As I'm on my feet the majority of my day I needed something to be hard wearing whilst remaining comfortable for long periods. In addition to my main requirements these DO actually keep my feet dry when outside working in poor weather!

These boots were less than 24hrs in my ownership, and I went up the Helvelyn mountain range in cumbria , some real rugged climbing and walking , and there was no sore points or blisters for my feet , just sheer comfort , an excellent purchase to have made .

Bought the walking shoes for my Husband. He thinks they are excellent, very comfortable and was so pleased to be able to get a half size. The only slightly down point. He thought they would have been perfect if the tounge was half an inch longer maybe.

My husband bought the same shoes approx. 18 months ago and wears them most days. They were very comfortable and the reason he needed new ones was that the soles had worn through with so much use. He was delighted to be able to get an identical pair.

I bought these shoes for my 12 year old son to wear on a school geography field trip. The class covered lots of terrain - including the beach - and his feet stayed dry and comfortable all day. And the true test: he's chosen to wear them again since!

So far so very good, felt comfortable from first minute, bought for dog walking and surprisingly for this year, not had any really wet conditions yet to fully test waterproof claims. They also by the way look great.

They seem to have a good tread for walking, and the fact that they are waterproof means that they are suitable for use on more occasions. They look the part, and are not showy! Time will tell how good they are!

Supremely comfortable - easily the best-fitting walking shoe I can find. It requires no "bedding in" period at all - I can start walking in them right away without any problem, which is very unusual for me.

I have had these shoes before and they beat any others I've tried for comfort and durability - I was delighted to find they were still in stock.and at a great price! Would recommend them to everyone.

As others have said, the tongue could be a little longer - but in practice this has not proved to be a problem. So comfortable I am thinking of buying another pair while they are still available!

Finding a walking trainer that immediately feels comfortable and looks smart at this price makes the Lockton a winner. I like it so much that I am thinking of getting a black pair as well.

I have a son who is very fashion conscious - he picked this, and said the shoe was comfortable. Very pleased to find something he would wear for our walking holiday

I always wear bigger size, size 13 with extra room will be good for me. If you could also have bigger size than 13 especially for just normal shoes to go to work.
