Women's Ascent 2 Waterproof Hiking Boots

I do not know when last I received more knowledgable and helpful adv ice from a sales advisor than I had today from Nick. He is to to be congratulated. for his expertise and thoroughness. I am breaking in the boots by wearing them in the house as he advised and will continue to follow his advice in order to ensure that they assume the shape of my feet.

I needed some sturdy, waterproof walking boots for use on rough terrain and hillwalking. These are perfect for the task as well as being lightweight and comfortable. I was not looking to purchase that day but was swayed by the additional discout offered. My husband is now going to MW to get a similar style for himself!

Bought lightweight boots while on holiday in Northumberland - had mistakenly left my heavierweight boots at home! Very knowledgeable lady assistant. Extremely pleased with purchase - no blisters or rubbing of toes even from first time of wear. Wore them for hikes over rough terrain and muddy conditions. Good grip.

Fits like a glove. Really comfortable from day one. Would like the same boot in all black colour as I use these boots for every day wear (not hiking or hill walking) and its almost impossioble to get a boot in a solid colour without multi colour laces and yellow/red detail.

I was able to buy these in a half size and the fit is very good; they have just done 3 days' walking in Switzerland (nothing too strenuous) and were well up to the job in fair and rainy weather. Very pleased with them.

I was specifically looking for a boot with a Vibram sole as my husband had bought a pair earlier on in the year and this one fitted the bill. Comfortable and sturdy, suitable for all weathers.

Was able to wear straight away with out any problems - no blisters or rubbing. Only thing that let this product down was size of laces - only a couple of cm left to tie a double bow.

Always abit unsure of buying boots on line but these are really comfy. Not been out walking in them yet but I bought particularly for the ankle support.

EXCELLENT THEY WERE GREAT AND REALLY PROTECTED MY BAD ANKLE DESPITE GOING OVER ON MY ANKLE WHEN WALKING. THE ANKLE IS IN TACT AN THE SWELLING GONE DOWN

Excellent product at a very reasonabe price. These boots are light and comfortable and as attractive as a ladies walking boot can be.

they were in the wrong box however and I was charged incorrectly so there was a bit of a delay whilst I had to be reimbursed

Wore these for the first time today, for 2.5-hour hike. They were comfortable thoughout; no breaking in period needed.

Daughter got them as off to africa to work with elephants and need a good pair off walking boots

Early days still. They seem a bit slippy on wet rocks, not a good grip, but thats not an issue.

Went walking for 3 hours straight after purchase, very comfortable.
