Extreme Walking Pole

Am rating this on its ability to be extended for use and then contracted for carrying, etc as it has yet to be used. I had two of these to replace a pair bought as a present for my wife; once extended they could not be contracted again so were returned to the store. Helpful staff tried unsuccessfully to make the original sticks work before offering the same brand as replacement. These were tested in store but also suffered the same problem so were replaced by this brand which tested very positively in store.

I wanted this type of pole for the cork-handle and particularly the wrist-loop since the latter is more supportive than conventional poles that I use.

These walking poles were exactly what I was looking for. They appear very sturdy, comfortable and easy to adjust and use.

I like the way the wrist strap also acts as a support. The construction seems very good, lightweight but strong.
