Waterproofing & Maintenance
Waterproof clothing is treated with a water repellant finish during production. After use dirt can impede water repellence and allow water to soak into the fabric, rather than bead off it. Home washing powders and liquids are too severe for washing such fabrics. At Mountain Warehouse you’ll find outdoor specific washes to keep your garment working effectively.
On a less frequent basis when washing alone is not enough a re-proofer will set water and stain water repellency back into clothing.
