Water-resistant Technical Fabric

The Mountain Warehouse kid's padded jackets are water resistant, this means that the fabric has been treated with a water repellent finish to allow rain water to roll off its surface easily and therefore it offers protection from light rain shower only.

Taped Seams

If a jacket has been finished with taped seams this means that the seams have been sealed to stop rain seeping through the waterproof fabric and into the garment through the stitched areas. Taped or welded seams are used to make the garment fully waterproof.
