Water resistant fabric
Technical fabric has a waterproof membrane or coating that prevents water droplets penetrating through the fabric to help protect you from the elements. This jacket does not have taped seams so during heavier rain, water may still be able to seep into stitched areas of the garment. This means that the Kid's Samson Water Resistant Softshell Jacket is perfect for milder weather and is water resistant during light rain showers.
Velcro adjustable cuffs
The cuffs can be adjusted to the required size by Velcro improving fit and preventing water getting into the Kid's Samson Water Resistant Softshell Jacket.
Multifunctional pockets
The Kid's Samson Water Resistant Softshell Jacket features a number of multifunctional pockets including two zipped security pockets and internal pocket, perfect for keeping items safe while participating in their favourite outdoor activities.

I was looking for a kagoule for my son and found this which I expected to be like a kagoule but I found it was better, it is thicker than a kagoule and is not only waterproof but breathable too, really good quality at a good price
Great coat - ideal waterproof. My child wears this every day and it's just right in this early spring weather. Ideal for windy/rainy days, and if it's a bit cold it's roomy enough for a sweater underneath. Superb value for money.
