A mid- weight fleece is the most versatile fleece type, our men’s mid-weight fleeces are ideal for everyday wear and for wear during outdoor activities. Mid-weight fleeces offer more insulation, comfort and breathability than micro fleeces. On colder days a mid-weight fleece is ideal to wear under your waterproofs for extra warmth. Mid-layer fleeces are particularly popular for wear during more active outdoor us as they will not restrict your movement.
The warmest fleeces available tend to be thicker, denser and extremely warm. They are often a double layer of fleece they may also be wind proof. The Mountain Warehouse men’s fleece jackets can be worn as a soft shell jacket providing the weather is dry, although are still light enough to be worn under your waterproof jacket should you require the warmth.
