The Parallel Scorpion men’s ski and snowboard jacket is a snow-proof garment that is made from waterproof fabric. The Parallel men’s jacket is insulated and fleece lined for extra warmth whilst having the additional benefit of having a fleece lined collar too. The Parallel men’s ski pants also have a dual adjustable and detachable hood as well as a detachable snow skirt. The men’s ski jacket also has an adjustable draw cord hem as well as elasticated and adjustable cuffs.
Snow-proof and waterproof fabric
The Parallel Scorpion ski jacket has been made from waterproof fabric. This fabric has a waterproof membrane or coating that prevents water droplets penetrating through the fabric therefore protecting you from the elements. This fabric is also windproof and snow-proof, however please not that although the fabric is waterproof, without having taped seams water may still seep through any stitched areas of the garment, and consequently this garment will not be fully waterproof.
Insulated and fleece lined
The Scorpion men’s jacket has been insulated as well as having fleece lining improving the comfort and warmth of the ski jacket when you’re up on the mountains.
Adjustable & detachable hood
The Scorpion men’s ski jacket has an adjustable and detachable hood. The hood can be detached from the garment through either buttons or a zip. You can adjust the hood to suit your size, as well as comfort and fit.
Detachable snow skirt
The snow skirt prevents snow from entering the ski jacket by acting as an internal gaiter. The is an integral part of the jacket when skiing or snowboarding as should you fall the snow skirt prevents snow from flowing up the jacket. The snow skirt on the Scorpion jacket can be detached from the jacket; this is ideal as it allows you to wear the jacket both on and off the slopes.
Adjustable and elasticated cuffs
The cuffs on the Scorpion ski jacket can be adjusted to the required size through either Velcro or elastic improving the fit and preventing water getting in to the jacket.
Adjustable hem
An adjustable hem allows you to tighten the bottom of the jacket; this is most likely to be done with a draw cord hem.
