The men’s Hurricane long jacket is a fully waterproof jacket complete with taped seams. The hurricane jacket is breathable with a mesh lining and for extra protection the men’s jacket has a double storm flap with rain channel and a detachable hood. To ensure a great fit he jacket has an adjustable waist and hem and has multiple pockets for added convenience. Waterproof fabric & taped seamsThe fully waterproof garments made by Mountain Warehouse are made with Isodry fabric, this is a waterproof and breathable membrane. The fabric consists of one way valves which are trapped between two or three layers of fabric, thismeans that moisture is able to pass through one side but not the other meaning perspiration will be drawn out, but rain cannot get in. The hurricane jacket has taped seams, This means the stitched areas of the garment have been sealed to stop any water seeping in. Taped seams ensure that a garment is fully waterproof. For further protection the men's jacket has a double storm flap, or two strips of material that overlap the zip to prevent any water getting in. Breathable jacket The men's jacket is breathable as it prevents moisture from getting trapped inside the fabric. It also has a mesh lining which aids the overall breathability of the garment. Longer lengthThe men's jacket has been made a longer length than regular rain jackets and sits below the hips for extra warmth and protection as well as a great look. Multiple pockets & featuresFor convenience the Hurricane jacket has an internal pocket suitable for your MP3 or mobile and zipped security pockets. The jacket also has a drawcord at the hem and waist to improve the fit and comfort of the jacket. For further protection against wind and rain, the Hurricane features an adjustable hood.

the Hurricane jacket is made of the material I like light ,supple ,weather proof.
(As opposed to just waterproof ) room for a fleece inside (if required).
What I was also looking for , pockets. Inside and out ,for various items when
walking in the cuontryside ,locally or on caravan holidays.
In other words a good all round garment.
It would have 5 stars if the zip had been of heavier quality, I appreciate that it might have been chosen for waterproofing but I find "fine" zips more difficult to use. It was one of the few "long" jackets I saw, I looked around both in Millets and Go outdoors but they had nothing to match the specification and price.
I was looking for something that was rainproof (not just shower proof) as well as a good fit and came down lower that my waist, I'm pleased to say, this coat fitted the bill very well indeed. The price was a bit higher than I had in mind, but it seems to be good quality, so I'm not complaining too loudly!
this garment is great value for a top notch piece of kit. before buying this jacket i actually visited 4 other local well known stores but they had nothing to compete with this item. the spec the length the number of pockets its all good good good. the most pleasing hiking item i have bought in a year.
Ticked all my boxes for a fully functional, light, waterproof for the moors, hills etc. Like all the well thought out pockets and comfort. Haven't tried it out in the weather yet, but stayed dry in my lounge.
Have only worn this garment once but it was impressive. Sizing was a bit off in that it appeared larger than the medium stated
I wanted a long, waterproof, windproof coat for dog walking. This fits the bill. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear.
good length,good number of zip pockets,arrangement of hood, storm flaps etc should make it perform well in rain/wind.

This was great as it was a decent length jacket. Particularly important for me as I have a long back.
