Waterproof
All our waterproof clothing is measured for its waterproofing ability by using an advanced technical method called ‘hydrostatic head’. A waterproof garment that has a 10, 000mm hydrostatic head will be very waterproof, whereas a waterproof jacket with a 1000 hydrostatic head will be less so. Make sure you select your waterproof clothing carefully by judging the conditions you’re going to be using it in, a garment with a higher rating will resist water for longer. To ensuer a garment is fully waterproof it needs to have taped seams, this will stop water beign able to seep in through any stitched areas of the garment.
Breathability
As with waterproof jackets, keeping dry is as much to do with breathability as it is to how much rain is kept out. Our higher end waterproof trousers offer the most effective level of breathability, providing a sense of freedom and comfort at all times.
