as a big mountain walker and a ex mountain rescuer i know what i want and above all i want whats contable and pratical. when most ppl think of waterproof they think gore tex ! well this is the 2 nd pair ofshoes or mid boots i have bought from here and the others did not leak in water once so there waterproofing material works well ! yes in order to keep it waterproof you have to keep re aplying the waterproofer but you have to with gore products too. these boots were conftable from day 1 waterproof and with the new vibriam sole a plesure to walk in , for the money a good pair of mid boots well equip for life on the street as well as out in the countryside and mountains the 1 thing they won't be good for is the harsh winter walks when snow is on the mountains a more rugged boot will be needed tho !

I purchased a pair of grey summer trainers from your Ely store earlier in the year . They were instantly so comfortable I promised myself a pair of walking boots for the winter . I have only worn the "Egret" boot for one day (today) - they are so comfortable , I can honestly say I have never had a more comfortable boot (or trainer) in my life . Well done !!! , and all at a very reasonable price .

wear them almost every day as for medical reasons must walk regularly, really impressed how light,comfortable and waterproof they are.we liked the fact we could try on many different boots without being hassled by staff but could get advice when asked, useful to have spare socks available

5 star rating is for comfort and style. As far as durability is concerned, I haven't put them to the test as only purchased them today.

Comfy, feel solid. Have to try them out in the muddy fields. Sizes are smaller than you think, had to get larger which seems fine
