Men's Viper Waterproof Hiking Boots

Went for a 6 mile walk along a muddy and quite steep part of the coast path and the boots were more comfortable than my old ones straight out of the box. No blisters, dry feet. The soles give good traction and flex nicely for walking. One concern I have is the insoles. I usually fit sorbothane insoles to all my boots but the existing insoles in these boots have a built up heel that is much thicker than usual insoles are, so upgrading them may not work too well. That said the existing insoles are comfortable at present. We'll see...

good In April I purchased a pair of boots ( Quest ) I expressed some concern that they had fabric joining the tongue to the uppers and was told that it was waterproof. The first time I was walking in the wet, my feet got wet. Not impressed. I needed to get some usable boots quickly and because your shop was the nearest I went back, but not a good experience. Walking boots are no use if not waterproof.

The one piece leather upper should be good for weather/waterproof protection. The ankle support is good and the boot feels supportive and is quite light. Good grip and nice fit but one difference to previously owned boots is that the in-sole seems high on the arch - maybe that's my foot not the boot - but it is comfortable. Good value.

Very comfortable boot which offers plenty of cushioning and support. I was looking for a robust pair of new boots which would minimise any possible problems with blisters or other skin/foot damage. I have not yet put these to any rigourous testing - but have walked a number of miles on level ground without any problems.

Very comfortable from the off, though the thicker soles take some getting used to. Original laces seem to be too short so have replaced with a longer pair. Once again time will tell whether they remain waterproof. As I use them daily as a gardener they will get more rough treatment than a hiker would give.

Very very good value for money. No need to feel they had to be "broken in" comfortable from the word go. Do agree with the one feedback regarding the nylon laces, have changed them, they seemed to grow in length every time I put them on. This is so so minor through, the boots are excellent.

I purchased these Boots for my Son who is doing his D of E and advised him as they are leather they will need breaking in, but no straight from the box he found them Comfortable with no blister's or sore feet.Also another good part of the boot is the gatter hook.

Only had them a week but unlike others boots I have had in the past these have needed very little "breaking in". I'm only able to walk around the local country park these days (3 hours maximum) these are more than adequate for the job.

Quality leather uppers, 100% waterproof. Sole very grippy on wet Dartmoor rocks. The gaters loop was too small for my particular gaters, but no problem with hooking on the bottom laces. All in all very good value for money.

Satisfied by my purchase, boots are great can't wait to try them on. Price for product half of what you have to pay for such boots of this sort. Good quality, comfortable and I would highly recommend them to any one.

I have given 5 star rating after wearing the boots for just one day in the house. They are comfortable, and I am looking forward to giving them a good outing in the Lake District in one week's time

Excellent. I walk up to 60 miles each week. Very comfortable & did not need breaking in. No pressure points & no risk of blisters. Soles are hard wearing & protective. Easy to clean & maintain.

Very comfortable from the first wearing. Low at the back of the heel so that's taking a little getting used to. Have yet to wear for any serious hiking but they've been good for short walks.

Appear to be very well made. Have only worn them for a short period as yet but so far have found them to be very comfortable and warm and giving great ankle support. My husbands comments.

These were bought by my son as his first "posh" boots. He describes them as "very comfortable" & "great for walking" which he did today. I think they represent good value for the price

A more "Traditional" looking boot but , it was like putting a glove on. I'm wearing them as I type. Not been "Road" tested yet , but the omens are great. Really comfortable boots.

Look good, fit well, nice thick soles, felt comfortable in these boots as I was walking around the store. Need to have boots that can fit my orthotics, and these are perfect.

Very comfortable, hardwearing boots. Good from almost the first wear. Very waterproof and the vibram sole grips well on slippery rocks when fishing.

Good choice for walker wanting sturdy 'old fashioned' support. Strong soles and good grip. Nylon laces a bit frustrating ( but aren't they all).
