Men's Hurricane Long Jacket

After realising my jacket wasn't that good at stopping rain, I went for this. Good thing as well, the jacket did well with the rain. It kept the main body dry. However, the arms were easier to get wet, plus the hood was annoying and wouldn't sit they way I wanted it to. Walking in the wind and rain while trying to adjust a hood gets annoying pretty fast.

The jacket is of a good length which is good for both warmth and keeping out the weather. There are plenty of well placed zipped pockets. Although the jacket is 100% waterproof it is not too heavy when stuffed into a rucksack. There was only one colour available but on reflection I am happy with the darkish blue. Altogether - a good buy!

the Hurricane jacket is made of the material I like light ,supple ,weather proof. (As opposed to just waterproof ) room for a fleece inside (if required). What I was also looking for , pockets. Inside and out ,for various items when walking in the cuontryside ,locally or on caravan holidays. In other words a good all round garment.

It would have 5 stars if the zip had been of heavier quality, I appreciate that it might have been chosen for waterproofing but I find "fine" zips more difficult to use. It was one of the few "long" jackets I saw, I looked around both in Millets and Go outdoors but they had nothing to match the specification and price.

I was looking for something that was rainproof (not just shower proof) as well as a good fit and came down lower that my waist, I'm pleased to say, this coat fitted the bill very well indeed. The price was a bit higher than I had in mind, but it seems to be good quality, so I'm not complaining too loudly!

this garment is great value for a top notch piece of kit. before buying this jacket i actually visited 4 other local well known stores but they had nothing to compete with this item. the spec the length the number of pockets its all good good good. the most pleasing hiking item i have bought in a year.

I wanted an everyday waterproof jacket rather than a specialist one. This filled my requirements admirably and gets away from the boring navy and greens in most other ranges. The material still has a certain amount of rustle about it when one is moving but not obtrusively so.

Ticked all my boxes for a fully functional, light, waterproof for the moors, hills etc. Like all the well thought out pockets and comfort. Haven't tried it out in the weather yet, but stayed dry in my lounge.

great jacket - but would like it even more if the hood rolled up and fastened into the collar - it's a bit tricky to fasten it on in a sudden downpour. good colour and like the longer length.

This Jacket is the essence of the everyday walking jacket at a competative price. It looks good and feels the part without being a uniform statement like other overpriced products.

Nice and roomy fit, not too heavy. Would have preferred the hood non-detachable but even so no bulky collar when not in use. Good-sized pockets and soft collar.

I've got this to walk and cycle under the rain. It is impressive. Water is just falling away like on a glass. Perfect for my next trip to lake district.

Particularly like the number and variety of pockets and the very generous length of the coat. I would have liked the hood to roll up into the collar.

I got a really good price on this jacket (the Men's is better even though I'm a woman) and it will be perfect for wind an waves blowing sideways

I needed a fully waterproof but lightweight jacket and found all that and more in purchasing this item. It's quite long as well.

Have only worn this garment once but it was impressive. Sizing was a bit off in that it appeared larger than the medium stated

I wanted a long, waterproof, windproof coat for dog walking. This fits the bill. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear.

i find it nice and roomy to ware, very comfortable and light and it has plenty of pockets and i realy like the security one

very comfortable with lots of pockets. good length.with detachable hood which fold up small enough to fit into a pocket.
