Men's Sphere 2.5 Layer Jacket

Tried it out this morning in the rain - a brisk walk of about 8 miles. Stayed dry and comfortable. Liked the ventilation from the under-arm zips; also the hood fitted (and worked) fine. The hood adjustment toggles are a little small - easy to operate with bare fingers, but less so when wearing gloves. Would have prefered a double-ended zip, but you can't have everything at this price. Very light-weight and packs small, which is what I wanted.

Good performance first week in Lake District in daily rain. Dry, packs small and like the underarm ventilator zips. Pocket zips seem good and tight. The hood adjustment and fold away is good. The plastic wrist adjustors look a bit clumsy - always had Velcro on cloth tabs before - but should get used to it. Need to use it rather more to give a better assessment and star rating. Looking forward to it in the current summer weather!

Wanted a light but very waterproof jacket to take on holiday. Wanted goretex but were told that this is as good. Waterproof and breathable. Liked the fact that the price was good. Not worn yet so don't know if it is good in the rain yet.

I chose the Men's version of this jacket for me personally as the female equivalent only had a waterproof zip, whilst this jacket had extra protection with a seam, so thought this one was more suitable.

As an alternative to gore-tex for my son to undertake the Ten Tors appears to be excellent value for money

This jacket does a good job at keeping you dry and also it's possible to have a fleece on underneath it.

Great length - very light and comfortable to wear. Hopefully will stand up to some really wet days.

I have already used it in quite heavy rain and it was comfortable and it kept me dry.

to date I have had no problem but have not been out in any significant rain.
