Winter Trek Men's Trousers

I'd been thinking of getting myself a pair of thicker winter trousers as I have always thought that it is easy to keep your top half walm with a base layer, fleece or jacket but struggled with my legs. Yes there is the option of thermals but they're not always comfortable over a long period of time. These trouser are just like a normal pair of thicker material walking trousers but have the addition of a lovely fleece lining to give a little bit of extra warmth on a cold day. If you are looking for a pair of warmer trousers for a cold winter day these could be just the ticket

I've worn these all purpose trousers throughout this unremitting cold spell, and have found them ideal for hillwalking, outdoor activities, and every day use. The trouser lining is most efficient and does not "rub" or cause sweat rashes. The expandable waistband helps to comfortably accommodate additional clothing and fluctuating waistline. The many pockets provide plenty of storage space for "things"; and a bonus is the discrete large zipper-secured one. The trousers are sound, weather resistant, and dry quickly when worn.

Purchased 2 pairs of these trousers because they match very closely the style of the Men's Trek Trousers but with the added layer for winter warmth. Am very pleased with the Trek Trousers since they have proved an excellent replacement for my old Crag Hopper trousers, matching closely in style and material. Therefore I anticipate that the Winter Trek Trousers will prove ideal for everyday use and countryside walking during the colder months of the year. The pricing is very competitive.

I think I could of had a size smaller than my usual size but am very pleased they are really comfortable and extremely warm lots of pockets, as they came in only one length I did have to get them taken up wore them in very cold temperatures last week and was very pleased with them.

THESE FLEECE LINED TROUSERS ARE GREAT EVEN IN STRONG WINDS AND FREEZING CONDITIONS. THERE IS NO NOTICEABLE COLD PENETRATION. THEY ALSO WASH EASILY AND DRY VERY QUICKLY. I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH MY FIRST PAIR I HAVE BOUGHT A SECOND AND AM NO LONGER HAVING TO WASH AND DRY JEANS.

Good buy at the price paid (excellent value in fact) - prefer this type of casual trouser to jeans these days as far "gentler" on the skin. slight set back is that the lining drags the legs down resulting in tugging round the waist BUT soon get used to it! Very warm.

Excellent product. Lightweight but nice and cosy warm. Ideal for walking, gardening or just pottering around. Very long for little short people like me (5') but being handy with a sewing machine this was not a problem, however it could be folks who do not sew.

I have purchased these for work as much of my work is outdoors. They will be ideal for the winter as they are very warm but easy to wash and get dry. My only disappointment was that there was only one length available in the shop which has meant shortening them.

I bought these trousers for my husband to wear when he walks the dog and for when he works in the garden in the winter months.He loves them! finds them warm and comfortable to wear.The elastic in the waistband aids movement when lifting and stretching.

very comfortable with elasticated sides. Good number of pockets most either velcro shut or have zips to keep items secure. Have bought many pairs of these over the years always found them hard wearing and dry out quickly if you get them wet.

I now own four pairs of these trousers. I have used them both in the U.K. and in Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands. They are the best combination of warmth, durability and comfort combined with value for money I have found.

I have previously owned a similar pair and found them most comfortable, warm and with a variety of pockets to house the many thinks I need to keep with me like phone, money, house and car keys, etc so I gladly made a second purchase.

Haven't had any rainy experience with them yet. They are light and the fit is good with a long leg length, which I need being quite tall and they feel very warm. I'm very pleased with them, especially at the discounted price.

Really, really good - warm, comfortable, windproof, remain good-looking after several washes. Excellent. We've bought several pairs. It would be ;nice if there was a great choice of colours. What about navy/dark blue?

Normally i purchase from competitiors. On this occassion and bearing in mind the extra 20% discount period i could not go wrong. UI was so pleased with my purchase i want to go back and get another pair in black. lmp.

Brought these for my husband for sailing and general outdoor activities including dog walking, Fit very well around the waist but a little long will have to shorten them, they are little baggy but very comfortable.

Quality reasonable and very comfortable. Would have given 4 stars but for fact only one pocket is zip fastened (rest are velcro). In an outdoors environment zip fastening is really the level of security required.

As I had a pair of women's winter trek trousers and liked them so much I thought I would send off for a pair for my husband. They fit and look good and he feels will be great when the weather turns cold again!

Not the thickest lining available in trousers of this type, but probably all the better for that as more adaptable than some. Ideal middle-weight winter/spring wear on the hills - or for traipsing around town!

Seem good on first use. Warm- though not used in extreme conditions. Single button fastening feels as if it could give in future - would prefer something more secure. Overall perfectly happy with them
