Feeling the Christmas Spirit

15/12/2011

We are getting close; Christmas is so nearly here we can practically smell it in the air. To take our mind off the cold weather at this time of the year the UK sets up beautiful winter wonderlands all over the country to help get you in the Christmas spirit. A perfect day or night out for families, groups of friends, or if you are looking to something special with the one you love.

Packed full of market stalls, great food and carnival rides people of all ages will be entertained and entry is generally free so the amount you spend when you are there is absolutely up to you.

Walking around the Christmas markets eating roasted chestnuts will work wonders if you haven’t already got that Christmassy feeling. Ice skating and Ferris Wheels will make you feel like a kid again, while sipping on mulled wine will remind you why it’s great to be an adult.

Being out in the open air at the time of year, particularly at night is going to be very cold and if you are lucky enough, you may even find your local wonderland covered in snow. To ensure you have a great time make sure you are adequately dressed for the conditions. Team your padded jacket with a base layer, gloves and hat to keep you toastie warm and a pair snow boots on your feet will ensure your comfort.

Providing you are full wrapped up against the freezing temperatures, you will enter a stunning Christmas world full of fun, treats, stocking fillers and most of all a brilliant atmosphere.
