Trekmates Ankle Gaiters

Replacing a red pair that I have had since the 1960s!! The elastic cuff has just gone on the old ones so I was looking for a new pair, and these seem to be an improved version - a liitle bit longer and a better front hook. It is a relief to see them recently in the shops again, they seem to have been unavailable for decades! My only gripe is the colour - a red pair would have scored 5 stars

Something I had looked for as my husband went walking after Christmas and found all the bottom of his trousers were mudded up. These will stop that happening great and on offer at the time.

These are intended for my children aged 11 and 13 as they are shorter than standard gaiters. They are easy to put on but again they have not been tested properly outside.

Bought as a substitute for full length gaiters. Easy to put on - good adjuster straps on bottom. Adequate cover and protection for ankles and bottoms of trousers

The ankle gaiter are very funfcional, keeps trousers and shoes dry. Comfortable to wear. Light and low ankle lenght makes them easy to pack.

Brilliant have always avoided using but used day following purchase and walked through boggy terrain and still had dry ankles and feet.

so pleased with these, easy to put on and will be kept in my long raincoat pocket for use when it rains a great idea.

Like shorter length, shame they don't fasten at the front as that would make a bit easier to put on.

Just what I needed to keep the rain out on a long weeks trek round the coast.
