The Parallel talus base layer pants are high wicking and highly breathable, as well as being lightweight and fast drying. The Talus base layer pants are ideal for keeping warm in a variety of different situations; from skiing to walking on the hills, the men's base layers pants will keep you warm and comfortable.

High wicking

The Parallel talus base layer pants are made from a high wicking fabric. This means that when you perspire or when moisture hits the fabric it will simply drop off the fabric allowing no moisture to be absorbed by the garment. This keeps you cool and comfortable and ensures that even in high energy activity, your body is kept at a regulated temperature.

Highly breathable

Highly breathable garments allow air to circulate in order for you to remain comfortable and cool during an active lifestyle. It is important for a base layer garment to be highly breathable as it allows the wicking to take place and helps the garment to be effective in both warm and cold weather.

Fast drying

Fast drying garments dry quickly due to the structure, composition and the weight of the fabric or a combination of the aforementioned. Also chemical treatments can make a garment quick dry.

The Talus base layers have been constructed out of 100% polyester that has been treated with chemical wicking.

I have yet to test this product in the serious cold which they were bought for, but initial impressions are good. Maybe a little expensive when not bought as a buy one get one free promotion. When combined with the Talus Long Sleeve Top, they make excellent apparel for a cat burglar or ninja.

Top has an annoying seam on the inside of the arm, okay for short periods. wear mine under motorcycle clothing and found it to be uncomfortable after an 160 mile trip. Having said that the base layer was more than warm enough with 2 other layers at minus two with wind chill.

Not exactly leopard print boxer shorts for visual effect - but not a problem out in the woods under trousers. Really warm and wicks very well.
