The Callisto 4 person tent is a stand up height tent with a hydrostatic head of 3000mm complete with fully taped seams. The 4 person tent is fire retardant and has fibreglass poles. The Callisto 4 person tent has a flysheet pitching style. The tent has a sewn in groundsheet to the inner tent as well as having a detachable living area groundsheet. This 4 person tent is an easy to pitch vis a vis tunnel tent with 2 separate bedroom areas with stand up height. There is also a large central living area as well as mesh vents on the inner tents allowing for plenty of ventilation.
Hydrostatic head
A hydrostatic head measures how waterproof the fabric or material of a tent or garment is. In the case of the Callisto 4 person single skin tent; the hydrostatic head is 3000mm. The fabric used to make the tent has a waterproof membrane or coating that prevents water droplets from penetrating through the fabric, therefore it protects you from the elements and of water in particularly. If the fabric is waterproof and has taped seams then it is also windproof due to the embedded membrane.
Fibreglass poles
Fibreglass poles are lightweight yet very strong and durable making them perfect for use in tent equipment.
