The Merlin 12L backpack is a great everyday rucksack that has a capacity of 12 litres and is IPod compatible. The backpack features two main compartments with further front security zipped pockets and mesh bottle pockets to the side, a pocket can even be found across the shoulder strap suitable for smaller more valuable items. The Merlin 12L backpack has been constructed with padded airmesh on all body contact points making the backpack easy and comfortable to use. A detachable key clip lets you attach any equipment to the outside of the backpack that you might need to gain access to at all time such as a water bottle. The Merlin 15L backpack is full of practical design features; it has side compression straps and walking pole or ice axe bungees.

I was looking for a small rucksack for myself to use for short walks and cycling and my other half to take with him to away game football matches and this fits the bill completely. It has a couple of compartments with internal pockets and a useful zip pocket on the outside. The external net pockets at each side are useful too. All in all, a pretty useful purchase

I was looking for a small backpack that would do for everyday and short walks; this fits the bill perfectly. It has plenty of pockets for water/phone/wallet and a waterproof. Well padded for comfort on the back and shoulders.

The size of this rucksack is just right for taking what is neccesary when going out for walks or climbing. I thought it would be a bit larger but as it expands it's fine. Measurements are given anyway.

Good product but the straps tend to slip off the shoulders. It would be useful to have a joining strap across chest to keep them in place.

The backpack is perfect for days out when you just need to carry a few bits and pieces. It's great that it is iPod compatible.

Ideal for carrying my camera, lightweight waterproofs and odd and ends. Would be better if it had a waterproof cover.
