The Saker 35 litre backpack has a 35 litre capacity making it a great mid weight rucksack. The backpack has several multi functional pockets with security zips giving you additional room to organise your belongings securely. The backpack has a padded back and adjustable straps that offer you complete comfort while travelling. Compression straps help to reduce the rucksacks bulk making it easier to transport and an ideal choice of travelling companion for short or long trips.

Intergrated compression straps

The Mountainlife Saker 35litre backpack has both top and side compression straps. The backpack has been cleverly designed with compression straps to help reduce the volume of the overall backpack and minimise movement of items within the pack preventing the wearer from becoming off balance.

Sternum chest strap

The Saker 35 litre backpack has a sternum chest strap that has been designed to fasten and tighten the bag around the chest area and provide additional load transfer.

I purchased this bag for all round use (work, travelling and holidays), perfect size for me for all round use (travelling light or carrying all my work gear). It seems to be well constructed and made using decent quality material. I find the built in rain cover useful, and the externally accessible pockets (x2) generously sized for bits and bobs you want to hand. It feels comfortable to wear with fully adjustable straps. Although the description states that it isn't hydration system compatible it does appear to be, with an internal pocket to hold the hydration device and an access hole for the tube and tube holder on the strap. People who like their bags to be internally organised with little dividers for pens or other small items may be slightly disappointed as all the pockets are just pockets. Side webbed holders are adequate to hold small items or a small bottle of water securely (i.e. will not escape). The top of the bag also has four square patches with slits that would allow you to add your own extra compression straps, or even some elasticated cord to hold clothing or other items. I find this bag to be excellent value.

Good rucksack. one large storage space inside, and two smaller pockets inside the hood cover. Also has tubing for a bladder (a hole as well as a clip down the shoulder strap) and the bladder itself prbably fits into the sleeve inside the main compartment. Only had it for a week but seems solidly constructed, too Downside is that the straps are a bit tiny and whimsical. the waist strap in particular is on the narrow side, and it is also a bit short (I am a man, with a waist size 38", and the strap is just about long enough to wrap around me, but only right on the shirt, never on top of a jacket or similar.

Great in terms of size, comfort, ease of use etc. I wanted a rucksack small and light enough to run with but also one I could use as a day pack for hillwalking and having used it for both I am very happy with it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the edges of the straps seem to "snag" my clothes so I have to bear this in mind when choosing what to wear and for example wear an old tee shirt over my base layers.

For the price this rucksack is a great balance of technical and size. Integral rain cover is a great idea. There are some elements of the design that are superfluous such as the reinforcement and strap holes on the lid. When loaded the drinks bottle holders on the outside are hard to use and on first rucksack there was a manufacturing fault. Would be good to see in colours apart from black but overall a good purchase

Excellent little day pack with a waterproof cover. Brilliant value for money. Takes everything I need for a walk out with ease. really comfortable to wear and the air flow around my back has reduced the perspiration buildup quite a lot from my previous rucsac

Bought because this was one of the few rucksacks that I saw in the store that had the flap at the top under to which tuck a jacket whilst out walking therefore saving the problem of having to pack and unpack the rucksack when a jacket was needed during walks.

Has everything I was looking for in a daypack. Loads of room, plenty of pockets and straps. I also bought a 1ltr hydration system to go inside. It also looks the part. Really happy with this purchase, and at an excellent price.
