The Travel Essentials small compression bag has a capacity of 8 litres and will compress most items up to a third or their original size. The small compression bag is the ideal way to reduce the volume of sleeping bags, down jackets and other bulky items to give you extra space in your pack. The small compression bag will compress most items up to a third of their original size. The small compression bag is made from durable water resistant nylon and has a drawcord closure, as well as tough webbing compression straps to fasten the bag when full. The large compression sack is available in black.
Compression straps
Compression straps on the side of the small compression sack can be tightened when the pack is full to reduce the overall volume and minimise movement of items inside the pack.

Excellent for price. Bag could do with a bit more material and end of compression straps need to be thicker to stop them pulling through buckles
