Merlin 23 Litre Backpack

Great weight and appropriate capacity. Main section seems good for waterproofs etc The number of pockets (internal and external) most useful for all the small necessities one needs when hiking. Not sure how useful the 3 loops on the outside will be - might have preferred the more conventional criss-cross system. Remains to be seen how I use them. Colour more unusual than the 'usual' blue, black or green.

Excellent size, lightweight backpack. Useful, various sized pockets for those longer walks - to hold purse, keys, glasses, camera, waterproofs, sandwich, and bottles of water (for me and the dogs!), not forgetting the dogs' collapsible water bowl! I now have two backpacks this size so my husband and I can carry one each as you would probably not fit two people's requirements in one bag.

this bag is a good size. not to big. I'm just missing an extra chest and waist strap. But the shoulder straps are very easy to tog tight and release again. I like the pocket for your iphone at the top and the clip to connect your keys in the front pocket. Nice foxy colour too!

I have been looking for a backpack for some time now and found the quality of this one the best it looked well made and as if it would last not like others i so. The price was also not over the top for the quality.

I needed a rucksack with at least 2 large pockets, 2 side pockets and an interior zipped security pocket. It doesn't have a waist strap and doesn't appear waterproof. On balance it is what I needed.

I haven't used this backpack yet but it's comfortable to have on. There is only one small pocket on the inside, that doesn't zip closed, but there are a couple of seperate pockets on the outside.

Perfect size for school. Really good quality. Lots of handy compartments to keep items separate and great features, such as clip on/off key ring and more. Mum and son very happy!

Good rucksack with enough pockets to store everything you need. Feels better quality than others for the same price and definitely meets my needs for everyday light use.

Perfect size for walking and well padded to be comfortable over long periods. Holds essential items with a little extra space and pockets for other less essential items.

A good all-round rucksac for use in town or in the hills as a daysac, with useful pockets etc. Would have been even better if had an inbuilt waterproof cover.

Two water bottle holders, and sufficient pockets for all your items. I bought this mainly to carry shoes so it will be perfect, and for everyday use.

Excellent value for money. Bag contained a few hidden, useful extras so very appropriate for school, outdoor trips and hand luggage for journeys.

Nice apperance, good size, lots of space for school books etc as well as use for camping. Padded well on straps and base of back.

I travel by train a lot and need a mid-size backpack that isn't too heavy yet is sturdy. This seems to fit the bill.
