The Microlie sleeping bag is practical for spring, summer and autumn outdoor or indoor use. The sleeping bag will provide warmth at a temperature of -5C to 12C. The extreme temperature is -15C. A handy storage pocket is featured within the sleeping bag perfect for storing your nightwear.

Left and right handed zip variation

The range of Mountainlife sleeping bags are available with a left or right handed zip option. This means that the sleeping bags can be zipped together to form a double. It is also easier to have a left side functioning zip if you are right handed and vice versa as it makes zipping the sleeping bag over your body easier. You are able to select your zip preference from the size selection.

Compact and transportable sleeping bag

The Microlite 1200 sleeping bag is a compactable sleeping bag that is easy to carry as it can be attached to your rucksack or hiking bag. The sleeping bag compresses into a small liner that can be tightened with adjustable straps. The bag weighs in at 1.7kg making it light weight and transportable.

I tested the sleeping bag last night, minimum: -6.7°C outside and -1.0°C inside the tent. Wearing thermals and a mircofleece I was just at the limit of having a comfortable night's sleep, but I am a light sleeper, so I think the lower temperature rating (-5°C) is accurate. The outer shell is also excellent at stopping condensation, and it is quite compressible, overall the sleeping bag is very good value for money, and good quality.
