Womens' Merino Explorer Sock

Always on the lookout for cosy comfortable socks for my ankle boots which I wear all year round for work. Some hardy socks don't always have cushioning and some have double material which separates after the first wash! I bought these for a change and I'm delighted with them, they were comfortable, cozy and washed up great. Would definitely buy them again!!

Not the cheapest, by any stretch, but these socks are pretty durable, warm and lovely. Saying that though, the socks I first bought winter 2009 far outlasted those I bought winter 2010; the second batch were far thinner, and I've had to darn them far sooner.

Comfortable in my boots, for which I bought them. Lovely and warm. Normally I do not like to wear wool next to my skin, but the softness of the merino wool makes them fine for me.

I came back to the shop to buy 2 more pairs because I was so pleased with my first pair. They fit well, are very warm and they don't itch my ankles like ordinary wool socks.

I purchased these for my grandaughter who has cerebral palsy and her feet are always cold but these socks make her feet warmer a great success. the best socks yet

TRIED THESE SOCKS OUT THE NEXT DAY & THEY WERE EXCELLENT FOR A DECEMBER YOMP. FEET STAYED WARM AND DRY AT A CONSTANT TEMPERATURE

size 6-8 fitted my size 8 feet well. comfortable and lovely soft feel. not yet subject to major use though.

maybe could be a little bit thicker, especially when standing on concrete all day

They are lovely to wear when walking and great for just wearing around the home.

These socks are the warmest I have ever owned! I am coming back in to buy more!
