Women's Winter Trek Trousers

Seem ok, but the 'regular' size is not the same length as the size 16 summer trek trousers I bought earlier this year which is a pity becasue again these will need hemming. As a matter of interest I also bought a pair of walking trouers (waterproof and breathable , suppose to be waterproof up to 4 hours with side zip to the legs with press studs). These were too long and again I had to hem these as well. Nevertheless these waterproof trousers are warm in the chill wind, easy to wash and a pleasure to wear.. 4 stars because these are too long , otherwise 5 stars

These are excellent value for money. They're dead comfortable and warm and cozy. Brilliant. The only point I'd like to make is that the sizing is totally out - I'm normally a size 12 and bought that size but when I put them on at home they were way too big! I went back to exchange them for a smaller size and settled on a size 8. I'm NEVER EVER a size 8!!!! Always have been size 12/14.

I purchased these specifically for wear when i am working with my horses, i need something lightweight yet warm as when undertaking the stable duties you dont need bulky clothing ,then after those tasks finished , these trousers are ideal when i am carriage driving keeping my legs warm when a little chilli need warm wwindproof garment as i carriage drive my horses. They are great

Used the trousers the next day after delivery for an 18 mile walk in the Peak District. They were very comfortable, and very warm. Size 6 fit well at the waist but were far too long, and also appeared to be rather wide fitting around my legs. Will be definitely turning the hem up, and would have prefered a less wide fit, otherwise a brilliant pair of trousers for walking.

Lovely quality trousers. I bought the size 12 as I wear both size 10 and size 12 jeans, and other reviews said these were a generous fit. I didn't find this however - the fit is snug around tops of thighs and bottom - although not too tight to walk in. I won't be changing them though! Length is fine and it's good to have a great fit around the waist - in the right place.

I think these trousers are great, I got a pair of these last year and wear them mostly when gardening during the winter and now got another two pairs (alao my husband has the gents ones). They are really warm and comfortable, when gardening I;m bending quite a lot and they are not restrictive. The fit is good though I would prefer the leg to be a little slimmer.

These are fantastic, they are warm and comfortable. Sizes are on the large size, Im normally a size 10/12 had to buy size 8 but they fit perfectly, so drop a size when buying these. They are also very long, I'm 5ft 6 inches and have had to turn them up 2inches. I bought them in the sale so got them for a great price but would happily buy them again.

Excellent qualit product nad the sizing was good too - I thought they would be too snug in fit due to being double layered but was pleased to find that factor had been taken into account when they designed and made these trousers! Very comfortable to wear and flattering to the female figure too...................Thank you for a very good product.

Super quality and features. I have them on at the moment just for sitting at home and they are so cosy. Am really looking forward to using them for walking which will be their real use. I already have one pair of lined trousers and have been looking for a couple of years for another pair of equal quality and at last have found them

I was pleased to be able to try on the trousers and am sure they will be just right for my trip as above. Again, a very helpful young lady who knew and understood the stock she was selling. I went back to the same shop because previously she had helped me choose a coat. I felt I could have confidence in her advice.

Very comfy and versatile. Ideal for using out in the garden and for walks. Only had to buy another pair because my waistband has expanded!!!!! As I am moving for a more outdoors life in New Zealand I know these will be perfect. Please keep producing this item as I have never found other trousers like this in the UK.

I only bought these today so haven't worn them yet. I bought them on recommendation I was told how comfortable they are. Apparently they wash well, Elastic waistband, generous sizing and fleecy lining means they are very warm hopefully useful on Dog walking and standing on the side of a rugby pitch.

I am an outdoor person. what with the cold weather and dogs to walk, horses to muck out. I like casual clothing comfortable and warm. These trousers are lightweight too. I bought two pairs and if I get on with them I shall be back for more. Just what I wanted and great value.

Comfortable trouser with plenty of room in the top of the leg allowing unrestricted movement. Sits between waist & hip so doesn't slip too low when sitting down. Long leg length - would help if inside leg measurements were given - not a problem as fits me. Lots of pockets!

As I already had one pair of these trousers and found them excellent for walking in in the colder weather I wanted at least one more pair. With the warm lining and elastic waist they are very comfortable to wear. As we go away a lot in our caravan we do a lot of walking.

Already own trek trousers and then found these fleeced lined ones for winter, they are ideal for my golfing and walking. Very comfortable to wear and plenty of pockets, great fit albeit too long for a shortie like me!! Easy to shorten without spoiling the look of them.

I love these trousers so much that I don't like taking them off at bedtime. They are so warm and cosy. I have an outdoor job and this is the first winter I can say that I haven't been cold outside. I bought one pair and after I had worn them I bought three more pairs!!

These trousers were in the sale and excellent value -exactly what I was looking for. They seem to come up large so I would try a size smaller than you would normally buy. I'd like to see a bigger range of colours -they only had black or brown in the store.

Excellent trousers, though being not very tall, the leg length was too long to avoid having to take them up (but still worth the five stars as the lining is cosy and the trousers are a comfortable fit). The trousers look good and are a pleasure to wear.

these are great - I bought one pair and then came back and got another two. They are the best trousers I have found for trekking, and really warm - it doesn't look like we will get any summer, so I think these will be permanent trekking trousers for me!
