These lightweight trousers are the essential product for every outdoor activity. Whether you are hiking in the Andes, gardening in your backyard or walking the dog, these trousers offer a great value mix of comfort and practicality.
The fabric is lightweight which makes the Trek Convertible Trouser ideal for travelling as it can be packed away easily into your rucksack without adding unnecessary weight. Also handy for travelling is the zip-off leg to convert into a pair of shorts, which means you don’t need to take a pair of trousers aswell as a pair of shorts – just take this one pair and you are ready for all occasions. An added feature of the fabric is its wicking quality – if you get caught in the rain they will dry quickly which is great if you are out on a long trek, or if you have to pack up camp that evening they won’t dampen everything else in your bags!
Designed with practicality in mind, the Trek Convertible Trouser has an array of pockets for various uses. Two main front pockets provide quick and easy access to your items, along with a smaller security pocket with zipper closure for the safety conscious. There is an additional security pocket on the back for larger items like your phone, and to complete the vast amount of storage space is a side cargo pocket with Velcro closure.
The designers also had your comfort in mind when making the Trek Convertible Trouser – an elasticated waistband improves the fit.

I bought a pair of summer trek trousers (without the zip offs) which are perfect size and in length. The summer trouers dried very quickly and washed well , hence why I have returned to try these
Only comment so far - these are a tad longer than the summer size 16 which is a pity because I will now have to hem them - good job I know how to do this!
I am 5'5" which I believe is average height

I was looking for a pair of lightweight walking trousers and these are perfect for the job. They are such a good fit and I'm delighted with them. The only comment I would make is that the zip off section is a little uncomfortable as it's quite stiff but this might improve once I wash the trousers.
Very comfortable, plenty of pockets, great price, however had problems straight away that stains would not come out in wash - this is surprising for an outdoor garment and I have not had any similar problems with similar products before.
I'm travelling with a heavy backpack and needed items that wouldn't take up much space. These trousers act as two items in 1, a fantastic find! I would've liked to see the same trousers in a lighter colour...
Excellent value, you can not feel the inner zip on the legs. The elasticated side's enhance the overall comfort. plenty of zips and pockets. I'm planning to purchase a second pair in another colour.
I was worried these trousers may be too small as I am a size 10 usually but they fit perfectly and the material is lovely and soft. Would have liked them a fraction longer in length....
The zip off design is great as it gives 2 garments in one so less weight to carry. Easy dry material is important on the trek I am doing as washing/drying will be difficult.
unfortunately They are too big, I have not had knee zips before and feel they will rub on my knees so I am changing them for normal walking trousers, even if it costs more.
These are great trousers and a bargain, I already have two pairs. Strangely the two older pairs are a size ten and exactly the same size as the size 6 ones I bought today.
Not a very good fit at all, I think the design and cut are more for a male than femaie. I returned them for a refund as they were far too baggy around the legs.
Lightweight and pretty comfortable. They rub my skin a little bit and are slightly too long for me, but I couldn't see different leg length sizes
I wanted to purchase a pair of trousers which I could use on holiday for travelling and by unzipping the legs, could use them for walking

Good fit, but the zip to turn the trousers into shorts feels a little uncomfortable when they are worn as trousers.
Perfect fit, flattering shape, very comfortable. Haven't worn them outside yet, but indoors them seem just right.
just what i wanted at an excellent price. They come up quite big so could go for a size smaller than usual.

A good fit although a little wide in the leg. Perfect length for me usually they come up too short.
Very comfortable in any weather. Especially good on wet walks as they dry extremely quickly.
