Brisk Women's Waterproof Jacket

Wanted a replacement outdoor waterproof jacket for a small lady. Also needed many pockets with zips for the numerous items eg mobile phone, money,keys,glasses, handerkerchief etc which one needs to be handy. It also extended down over the hips for lower back cover and with a hood which could be drawn in by toggles to remain on the head in a wind, as well as a neck protector. The grips on the wrists were light weight material which does not scuff. A useful dark colour edged with a bright torquoise blue offering a pleasant look. The hood is lined and rolls away into the collar. Also the inner lining is breathable which is handy when climbing a hill whilst the outer material is waterproof.

Having spent a very wet week in the Lake District, I realised that my 'waterproof,' wasn't! I looked in various shops between Keswick and Kendal, even other Mountain Warehouse shops. Despite this store having big signs all over saying 'closing down,' I found what I wanted in my size. The sales assistants realised that I didn't want anyone hovering, but just called a friendly welcome and said 'if you want any help, we a just over here, give us a call' - wonderful. I tried on the jacket, but still wanted to check out 'Trespass.' They did not have anything like the quality of Mountain Warehouse, so I returned and purchased the jacket.

I liked the style of this jacket and wanted something waterproof that i could use frequently and not cost the earth. This jacket looks tidy and keeps me lovely and dry. The only negative i would say is the hood is a little large and could do with an adjustment toggle.

great purchase especially with the recent weather. Hood is a bit awkward but as I had already read previous comments I sorted it before actually wearing the jacket and before going out in the rain!

great jacket has a stretch panel at the back for more comfort, lovely colour. and excellent for the price, very pleased with this purchase and would defo reccoment..

Really please with the quality and fit. Wanted a totally waterproof jacket which did not incorporate a fleece and this fitted the bill perfectly.

stands up to wet cumbrian weather. good value, is quite big though, could probably get away with a size below your usual.

Bought this to replace an old waterproof that had started to leak. It is smart enough to use for work as well as casual.

Been looking for something like this for a long time, should have gone to Mountain Warehouse sooner !!
