Mariah Carey Closes Ischgl Ski Season

Austrian ski resort, Ischgl traditionally closes its ski season with their Top of the Mountain concert at the Idalp, the highest part of the resort. The two day concert which is free to attend for any skier with a lift pass to the resort, has played host to some of the biggest music stars in the world.

Past performers include Elton John and Bob Dylan, and have announced Mariah Carey will headline the 2012 Top of the Mountain closing concert. Ischgl also holds a Top of the Mountain concert to open the season in November.

The luxury ski resort of Ischgl is located on the Austrian side of the Alps, and has over 140 miles of pistes, as well as a huge snow park which plays host to many training professional skiers and snowboarders as well. Ischgl is regularly voted one of the best ski areas in the world, due to its high speed lifts, and guaranteed snow.
