Store staff at each branch nominated a local charity, offering support to a wide range of causes. Amongst the wonderful charities we have helped are Mind, Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary and Florence Nightingale Hospice to name a few.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By teaming up local charities with their nearest Mountain Warehouse, customers purchasing a bag were able to donate to a cause close to them, therefore giving back to the local community. Through this, we have been able to donate 100% of the profits from each of the \u00a31.99 bags to these local charities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rosie Aston from Helen\u2019s Trust in Bakewell who received \u00a31,656, said : \u201c<em>We are a small charity who try to make a big difference in the local community. We\u2019d like to say a big thank you to the team at Mountain Warehouse in Bakewell who have raised so much money for our charity with the sale of their bags, which are both beautiful and eco-friendly!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The next phase of the Charity Bag campaign has allowed us to partner up with 22 new charities including RNLI, Thames Hospice and Peak District Mountain Rescue. By working closely with a smaller number of charities we hope to make a greater impact to each worthy cause.
