A. <\/span>Salopettes should be a bit longer than your normal trousers so that you can fit them over your ski or snowboard boots. Most ski pants will have snow gaiters at the bottom of the leg opening that are designed to fit over the top of your boots to prevent the snow from getting in. These usually come with zips, poppers or Velcro to make it easier to loosen and get over your boots.
