Men's Napier Softshell Jacket

I had been looking for a softshell product to wear with my windproof jacket to give me an extra layer, particularly when out walking, and have also used it as an outer layer in its own right. I bought the jacket in the January sale, and to be honest it was a bargain. Comfortable, warm yet lightweight, this jacket is good value for money, particularly when you compare it to other similar jackets available from the more premium end of the market. Having worn the jacket now for 3 weeks in the cold weather and snow in Derbyshire, I can say that it has now become an essential and I never leave home without it. Don't be swayed by the label or designer, if you're looking for a lightweight jacket that does the job, then take a serious look at this one, especially if you can get it a good price.

Sizes vary dramatically between XL and XXL which was a little problematic when identifying the most suitable. I really needed something in the middle and was therefore forced to by the slightly oversized XXL. Another issue is the fact that I am usually L to XL (max), so it seems strange that the anly jacket that would fit me is XXL.

A very good servicable softshell jacket, a great fit and does the job , it keeps you warm and to a extent dry, if it does get wet like it did on my first day wearing, it dries very quick. nice cuffs and draw cord waist to keep the wind out also

I bought this to use as a general purpose jacket. I appears well made, fits well and has good-sized pockets. The colour is rather uninspiring but for the price I'm not complaining.

Always had fleeces in the past, thought I'd have a change it's wind proof shower proof and as warm as a fleece and looks quite smart when on, would recommend.

good softshell jacket, not been tested yet in any really wet or cold weather, though I do not thinkk I will be disappointed when it is.

I original bought it for when I go out walking but due to the style and practicality I will probably use as an everyday jacket also.

A versatile soft jacket to be worn as an additional layer when it's very cold, or as a single layer when the weather starts to turn.

Like the way the rear of the jacket drops lower to protect your back. Can be worn for walking and as a jacket for infromal events.

I have worn it 3 times now for mountain biking in sub zero conditions and it has kept me warm on each occasion. Excellent.

Nice looking jacket at an excellent price. If you had an XL we would have bought another one. Staff extremely pleasant.

Had been looking for a jacket that was water proof like a kagool but a bit warmer and this looks to fit the bill.

Had one of these before and thought them excellent, Mountain Warehouse price was very reasonable.
