A good feel to these socks - the right thickness and even seams - my only down is that the size is 7 - 11 and they feel slightly loose - I am waiting (and hoping) that they shrink when washed to give them a snug feel - they also don't appear to shed theit fibres unlike many socks bought elsewhere previously - I take a size 8 1/2 shoe - in my opinion, what is needed is two size spans to avoid this problem.

Husband needed warm socks and these looked like they would fit the bill perfectly - plus they were buy one pack and get another free - so we were both satisfied! Look like good warm socks but only worn today for first time so can't comment on washing etc but am sure they will be perfect.

Was offered these socks as a promotion, so glad I accepted as the length is very good. The combinations of colours available should suit all tastes. Very usueful to have socks like this made of cotton, so many are wool based, short and shrink badly.

I normally like to wear socks with a high wool content and only bought these because of the deal on offer when bought with the trainers. Despite this I am impressed with them. They fit well and even at full price they are not expensive.

This is the second purchase of this product that I have made. I tend to wear out socks very quickly but my first purchase of this product lasted many times longer than any other socks that I have bought. Simply a fantastic product!

warm and comfortable, although a little big for my feet but I am a funny size, I bought a 7-11 because my boots are a seven but probably could have done with a smaller size, but overall a worthwhile item to have

Not particularly thick but size seems OK - pack is sized 7 to 11 and as I'm a 10 they can sometimes be tight but these are fine. Also very good value at discounted price. Time will tell as regards wear.

For something which is less than the price of a single pair of some brand name socks, these are really comfortable. No toe seams to worry about and really soft - great and wish I'd got some more.

These socks were a present for my husband. We bought a pack in August when visiting the Fort William store and he liked them so much he wanted some more! Very comfortable and wash and wear well.

This is the second pack I've bought. They are comfortable, available in a nice bright range of colours and wash up well. I got them at half price with another purchase so even better value

Good sock to wear. They are keeping warm and well ventilated. Only thing that bothers me (but it's a problem with most socks) is that after a while you get big marks on your legs.

The socks come up very large. My daughter is a size 6 or 7 and these are on the large size for her, even though they are supposedly for sizes 4 to 7.

These socks are warm and provide sufficient padding to make these comfortable to wear without chafing. Very pleased with this purchase.

Good quality hiking socks, excellent value for money. Good for mild British winter weather but not suitable when it's really cold.

Excellent - very warm and comfortable, although the socks were a bit on the big side for my husbands feet - he is foot size 9.

Seem to be well made and good value for money. There may be better socks out there, but they will cost you much more.

Socks are very comfortable, good colours, the tops grip your leg but not too tight. Bargain at buy one get one free.

very comfortable warm socks, I originally bought for hill walking but I now use for every day use in colder weather

Probably better suited for wearing in spring and summer as they are not especially thick but still very good value.
