The Silva Expedition 4-6400/360 is a classic full-size base plate military compass used extensively around the world by NATO forces that is also suitable for hiking and expeditions. Featuring a luminous compound activated by flashlight or daylight, the compass will remain operational for up to six hours at night. Graduated in mils (6400) and degrees (360), there are also millimetre and inch scales as well as a GPS positioning measuring scale.
