This women's thermal gilet from Montserrat features a fabric made from polar fleece with polyfill insulation. It has a basic quilted design without any additional embellishment. The fabric is lightweight at 39 grammes per square metre but also durable, thermal, and wind and water resistant. Key design elements include a chin guard, elasticated armholes, and stretch side panels for comfort and movement. The collar features a standup design and it has a sleeveless construction. For storage, there are two zippered side pockets lined with brushed tricot fabric as well as an internal mesh pocket. A full zip fastening runs down the front and the hem is adjustable. It is suitable for general outdoor wear. The manufacturer confirms the garment meets .
